Magnetic Therapy is an alternative drug-free remedy believed by many to aid pain relief and inflammation and dates back thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians believed magnets played a role in increased life span and improved overall health. For generations, people have believed in the benefits of magnets and that magnetic therapy can assist in the relief of aches and pains, headaches, chronic pain and swelling.

Modern believers in magnetic therapy believe that the magnetic field created from placing magnets on or near an injured area, encourages the flow of oxygen-rich nutrients to the injured area, acting as natural pain management. Currently there is no scientific evidence support this claim.

Aids for Daily Living do not claim that any magnetic product will cure any injury, nor should it be used as a substitute for medical care. They are not sold as medical devices.

It is up to you to determine if our magnetic products work for you. Try them yourself risk free! Consult your doctor before use, and if you are not 100% satisfied, simply return the item to us for your money back at any time up to 3 months from the date of receipt.

*Important information*

Do not use magnets if you are pregnant, use a pacemaker, insulin pump or other electronic medical device as they may interfere with these devices. Magnetic products should be kept away from all computers, electronic storage disks and other electronic devices. Use only as directed. We strongly advise care be taken with the use of magnetic products. Do not apply over an open wound. Do not use magnets as a replacement for conventional medical treatment or as a reason to postpone seeing your health care provider about any health problem. No brace or product can prevent all injuries and no guarantee is made either expressed or implied that any injury or ailment will be prevented by the use of this product.

If pain or inflammation continues, discontinue use and consult an accredited medical professional.

How do you know your information is secure?

There are two easy ways of telling if a site is secure. Firstly, you will notice on our site that when you head to the checkout, the prefix on the web address changes from HTTP to HTTPS. This may seem like a small change, but is an indication that the site you are using is secure.

The second way to ensure the website you are using is safe is to check for little padlock or key symbol, this is often in the browser or address bar but can also sometimes be on the bottom of the screen. This is another indication that you are using a secure website.

I don’t see the padlock icon, is it still safe?

Every Internet browser is unique, whether you use Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari; they all function a little differently. They can even change a lot from version to version depending when you last updated it. The padlock could be in a number of different locations, and some browsers do not show it at all. So long as the page you are using is HTTPS, it should be secure.
